:: Forever More Oblivion ::

Named for my personal folder of Anime music, Forever More Oblivion is my brainchild, and my first blog. I don't quite know what I will post, but expect everything from quotes and music to incoherent ramblings, and hopefully something that will make this place worth remembering. That is, if Oblivion /can/ be remembered.

I've thought this over, and I've decided I no longer see the point of keeping a blog. Sorry if you're dissapointed for some obsure reason, but sorry- I just can't keep up with this anymore. Its...ridiculous, I think. I'm usually available if you want to talk or something, since I quite like e-mail and IMs and stuff since the 'net gets rather lonley sometimes. As a farewell present, a link!

Ad Slogan Generator Thing!

Type in a word, it makes a slogan, and boom. Highly amusing.

Just for the record, I typed in Tsukasa (from .hack//SIGN the person is)and it said:

Only Tsukasa has the Answer.

Muahahahaaa.....

I'm pretty sure the day I got my braces was June 6, 2000
And today! May 15th! 2003! I got my braces OFF!

YAATTAA!! ^_____^

My teeth feel veeerrrry weird, but hey, its worth it! No more picking at them, no more sore gums from stainless steel, no more monthly checkups. Almost three years of orothodontia (or however you spell it) and I'm freeee. boo-yah. And to all you out there who have braces: hang in there! it is worth it!

And to everyone who will be getting braces: it is as horribly fun as it sounds. muahahaha.

Go here to hear a song that's a guy on guitar singing for 4:42 about... Butt-Sex. And it's not perverted at all. Seriously.

::falls over laughing::

Oh yes, how pathetic I am. But hey, its funny!

There are, right now, 1388 people downloading Toriyama World's fansub of Naruto 29. ::is amazed:: I think thats some sort of a record...at least, thats the most poeple I've ever seen leech a file at once from one place...No, I'm not leeching it. I'm d/l-ing the rerelease of Ep.1 and then I'm going to watch 29. ^_^; I love fansubs, its such a great way to spread the love of anime. Just not anything lisenced. After all, there has to be a limit somewhere, right?

I think I like denial. Denial is nice. Denial like Hikaru-kun running around Honinbo Shuusaku-sensei's grave. Denial that something is gone quite suddenly without warning, without planning, and you just can't quite believe it. I read that part of the manga a while back, and just saw the episodes the other day. That's how I spend my vacations, just watching/reading anime/manga, since I can't really do that during school.

I just heard Hikaru no Go, which has run in Shonen Jump for what, 4 years? Has just come to an end in Jump's most recent edition. Of course, people make mistakes, so mabye it really hasn't, which is what I'd like to believe. But that just wouldnt make much sense, would it? After all, there's only so much you can do with any story.

The wonderful thing about HnG was(is!) how it was(is...) so origonal. I mean, it's a manga dedicated, pretty much, to the old game Go. (Basically, in Go two players place stones, one person black and the other white, on a grided board and attempt to capture the other person's stones and to claim territory on the board, or goban. It is amazingly more complex then that, but thats the shortest explanation). It runs in a Shonen magazine, meaning it's made for boys, and is surrounded by landmarks and world-famous manga. Yet it became a smash hit in it's own right (in my opinion). The art style starts off simple and amusing, kinda cutsey ^_^, as does the story. But whats truly amazing is that the art really develops, and you can see it. Its mildly disturibng to look at one of the latter pictures of Hikaru, and then look at how he was first drawn. About three years or so pass in the manga, and when you look at the art, you can really believe it. Not only that, but every line becomes thought out, and almost delicate-like. Its one of the most deeply artistic Shonen mangas out there, I think. And the plot gets more serious, too. There isnt an abundance of character development, but you can understand all the people pretty well. Hikaru truly grows up and learns to take Go seriously, something that seemed quite impossible in the begining. It's really unique, the whole thing.

What also amused me is that at one point, it had the main rival (Akira-kun) standing alone, gazing at where Hikaru had been, while his hair is tugged at by the wind admist a small cherry blossom shower. Up to this point I thought that was only done in Shojo (girl's) manga. Sometimes it's really fun to be proved wrong, ne? And for some reason, the look of Ogata-sensei vaugly reminded me of Yuki from Gravitation (different jobs, but both pros and quite dedicated to their work. both blonds with similar hairstyles, both like smoking and drinking) but that's probably just me.

I feel so much better now, no more siffles or anything... -.- I guess at this point I'm still wandering around in the graveyard, but I'll find my way out eventually, dont worry ^_^

Oh, and I had an idea. I'm going to try and learn to sew! ::winces:: I just hope I don't completly destory the fabric...its so pretty n_n
